Home Means Nevada Day will be a fun-filled day of activities and a field trip to help our students learn more about the great state we call home!
Volunteers are asked to arrive at Nevada Blind Children's Foundation at 8:30 am for a brief tour and orientation. Children will begin arriving at the center at 9am. We will leave for a field trip to the Clark County Museum at 9:30 am, volunteers must make arrangements for their own transportation to the off-site location and back to NBCF.
Our time at the Clark County museum will be spent on a two-hour guided tour of the exhibits, followed by a picnic lunch provided by NBCF. Please be prepared to walk and dress accordingly. If you have special dietary needs we suggest you bring your own lunch, no nut items are allowed due to allergy concerns.
Following our time at the museum, we will head back to NBCF and play games until the end of the event at 4:00. Volunteers may opt to leave for the day when the field trip is completed.
