The Reed Center for Ecosystem Reintegration is looking for a skilled grant writer to help us respond to multiple RFP opportunities. We are looking for an individual with excellent written communication skills and strong research skills. Also, you will need to be able to understand the needs of our organization and the requirements of the funding opportunities. You must be able to work independently and willing to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Nonprofit grant writers prepare grant proposals, beginning by performing research on potential funding sources.
- Develop proposals by familiarizing oneself with our organization's programs, goals and financial needs.
- Maintaining and sharpening existing grant spreadsheet grants calendar on Google Drive to compile all information including relevant due dates, deadlines, feedback dates, keep records, etc.
- Report out monthly on submission, approvals and fundings.
