The Lacey Boys & Girls Club is in need of volunteer tutors to support our G3 (Get Good Grades) tutoring program. Our program is offered free to up to 30 of our qualifying club kids. Each club kid will attend at least three hours of tutoring each week. It is the job of the volunteer tutor to assist child with homework and tutor in areas that need improvement. Our main focus is to help each club member improve their language arts and math grades from below the standard mark to above by the end of the school year. The tutors will be paired with one club member and will meet with them three times a week. There will be a paid staff member supervising the room at all times.
For the safety of our club kids we are required to background and reference check all volunteers who are in direct contact with our kids.
