Description

The Community Ministries Program at Trinity United Methodist Church is an outreach ministry that has two main componets. The first is an afterschool program on Wednesday evenings from 5-7 pm that includes activities, gym time, a community meal followed by homework/games and fellowship. This program is meant to give children new experiences that challenge them to learn and grow as well as build relationships with caring adults in a safe place. The second is to be a resource to children and families in the community. This involves building partnerships with other groups and non-profits that help bring resources like classes, speakers, trainings, program space and network building closer to the residents of the community.
