Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana is actively recruiting fun, skilled, and committed volunteers. Volunteers at Boys & Girls Clubs are more than just volunteers, they are mentors and role models that impact the lives of kids!
Volunteers working individually must complete a volunteer application and pass a background check!
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to work directly with youth. See below for more information on volunteer opportunities for youth between the ages of 16-18 years. Please note that we do not allow volunteers completing court-ordered/recommended community service (no matter the offense) to work in our Clubs.Guest Speakers
Boys & Girls Clubs occasionally accept guest speakers to make presentations to Club members. If you are interested in becoming a guest speaker, please contact Sarah Jane Lowery at sarahjane@bgcmetrolouisiana.org
Junior Staff
Anyone who is between the ages of 16 and 18 who wishes to volunteer during Club hours, assist with Club programs and serve on an ongoing basis must join our Junior Staff program. These individuals must become Club members and may complete service hours through this program.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana operates four Club sites across southeast Louisiana:
- Covington Club
- NFL-YET Club(New Orleans)
- Slidell Club
- Westbank Club(Gretna)
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana provides after school and summer programs for school-aged youth between the ages of 6 and 18 designed to meet our priority outcomes of Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles. We offer programs in five core areas: Education/Career, Character/Leadership, The Arts, Health & Life Skills and Sports/Fitness/Recreation.
