Maliheh Free Clinic needs Spanish Interpreters to assist patients in communicating effectively with medical providers and staff, and to help access needed resources for medical care.
Volunteers must be fluent in English and Spanish. Medical terminology is helpful, but not necessary. Orientation and training are provided.Cultural competency is a plus.
This a great opportunity to help others in our community and to maintain your existing language skills.
Time required is two 4 hour shifts per month.Available shifts are:Monday - Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm, Monday - Thursday 12:30pm - 4:30pm and Tuesday/Wednesday 4:30pm - 8:30pm.

The Maliheh Free Clinic seeks to improve the quality of life in the Greater Sale Lake Area by providing free medical services for uninsured individuals and low income families.
Description
The Maliheh Free Clinic offers a range of medical services. Our primary focus is on health maintenance, patient education and preventative care. The clinic serves as a medical home for over 5,000 individuals in our community, providing regular visits, labs, screening, childhood immunizations and patient education.
