The Red Cross Disaster Action Team provides support and recovery services to those affected by disasters when they need it most. Immediately following a disaster, Red Cross volunteers are on scene providing assistance to clients to support their immediate disaster-caused needs.
The Duty Officer serves as the point of contact for initial requests for Red Cross disaster assistance from clients and local public safety dispatchers. The Duty Officer will work with Red Cross disaster responders to ensure quick response to local disasters such as home fires and floods.

- Ability to Answer Cell Phone Promptly When On-Call During the Evenings / Weekends
