Position Overview: The Wayzata Early Learning School has a mission to support families with young children in the Wayzata Public School community. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes serve as a way of supporting parents and their children ages birth to five. Parents and children come together, and then separate with parents meeting with a parent educator.
Volunteers will play with children while parents meet with a parent educator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in children’s play during parent-child interaction time as well as when parents are in meeting with parent educator. (Most children are between the ages of birth and 5 years old, but up to age 10 are invited)
- Help clean up the toys after class and return community space back to the way it was found.
Time Commitment: Mondays, October 14 - November 18 from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
