The Empowerment Factory (TEF) is a non-profit dedicated to giving youth the skills they need to lead happier, healthier, more empowered lives. We focus on three areas of development: creativity, self-esteem, and civic pride. Our Creative Squad programs blend hands-on activities with social emotional learning (SEL) and environmental education. Our vision is for every child to develop the confidence and ability to express themselves and become successful in school and life. Every child should feel that they matter and can make a difference in the world around them.
Research and Analysis Intern/work study/volunteer Job Description
The Empowerment Factory (TEF) is looking for a passionate, creative and innovative Research and Analysis volunteer to help find strategic partners and possible sponsors to support The Empowerment Factory. As well as to collect data, and write reports. Volunteers will work closely with the Executive Director and Office Manager. We are asking for a minimum of 4 hours per week and are flexible on what days and times.

- Conduct prospect research on state and federal grant opportunities and individual, foundation, and corporate donors.
- Person should have the ability to do research and record findings in Google docs, and other platforms.
- Must be computer literate (Microsoft suite and Google Suite). Proficiency in Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Location is easily accessible by public transportation, directly on bus route
Term: Summer, Fall, Winter session and Spring
