On Saturday 5:30-8PM September 21, 2019 at the Kanbar Performing Arts Center 44 Page St in San Francisco, rising young classical stars 2019 3rd prizewinner violinist JULIA MIRZOEV and 2018 semifinalist cellist DAVIS YOU perform a delightfully eclectic program at our 2nd annual Strings a la carte, a festive soirée honoring our 2019 Arts Champions Nancy Quinn & Tom Driscoll, featuring cocktails, small bites, and a silent auction to raise funds for the Klein Competition and California Music Center's programs.
We're looking for volunteers to help us set up for the benefit from 12-4PM and transform the hall into a sparkly, special event space. Tasks include setting up and placing tables and chairs, moving risers; placing uplighting; set up of silent auction items and bid sheets; food and beverage set-up; install and test projector/sound; place signage and photography!

It’s recognized for the high caliber of the contestants, its unique, nurturing environment, and its commitment to the commissioning of new works. We exist to serve the next generation of string performers, helping them to launch their careers.
