Audubon Texas is launching an exciting community initiative in Fort Worth. Texas is the epicenter of the energy industry. It’s also susceptible to climate change impacts. Hurricanes, extreme heat, and changes in rainfall patterns are already impacting Texans, birds, and wildlife across the state -- and these threats will only worsen as average global temperatures continue to rise. That’s why Audubon Texas is calling for thoughtful action on carbon and a smart transition to clean energy sources. It’s the right thing for our communities, business, and wildlife.

Safeguarding our state and our future is no small task. We need your support! We're looking for volunteers to get involved on our Clean Energy Future Campaign. We'll host meetings and community events, gather petitions and grassroots support across the community, increase visibility through media and social media, and build a strong coalition of organizations and local businesses. There are many ways to help make a difference on this campaign, and we'll work with you to tailor your involvement to your interests and any limitations.

If you agree that now is the time for Texas to take the lead, express interest in volunteering with Audubon Texas. No previous experience required -- just a care for the issues and a willingness to get involved!
