Special 9/11 Project - Patriotic Crafts
ORGANIZATION: OneOC
Please visit the new page to apply.
SeniorServ's mission is to nourish the wellness, purpose, and dignity of senior and their families in our community. In memory of 9/11, we are hosting a special volunteer day at our Adult Day Health Care in Anahiem. Our ADHC is an alternative to placing a loved one in a skilled nursing facility. Participants receive special care and support from caring staff and volunteers that help make their time at the center a positive and meaningful experience. Your group would help coordinate and lead a fun patriotic craft activity for the participants. Volunteers need to be friendly, patient, and enjoy working with older people and people with disabilities. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
