The Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network (EFPN) supports the BackPack Buddies Program. This program provides food on the weekends for low income children. Every two weeks EFPN receives a truck from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. We are looking for volunteers to meet the truck, inventory the food and help school personnel fill their vehicles with the food shipment. Currently two schools have their food brought to 503 S Saginaw Rd. The truck comes on Tuesdays around 11:30 am. The program runs from October til May.
