To enhance the patient experience by providing pet therapy visits utilizing trained therapy dogs.
Seeking pet therapy teams that have Pet Therapy Certification.
Pet Therapy teams require:
- Therapy Certification
- Immunizations (Rabies, Parvo, Lepto, Distemper)
- Dog License
- Must be at least 1 year of age or older
- Have annual examination by vet

- Orientation or Training
- 2-3 hours per week. Flexible scheduling. Can also do once a month or every other week.
- Current Pet Therapy Training certificate. Veterinarian documentation of dog's vaccinations for rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, and parvovirus. Dogs must wear vaccination tags,license & hospital issued badge and be at least 1 year old.
