Located on Madison’s Northside, ARTS for ALL Wisconsin’s Art Center conducts classes in visual art, music, movement, and more for people with disabilities usually ages 16 and up. Sometimes Youth classes are offered. Volunteers are needed to assist in classes offered Monday through Fridays in the late afternoons/evenings, and for occasional Saturday workshops. This may be a 9 week commitment, two hours per class. We would love to add more volunteers with ASL and spanish language skills.

All volunteers must wear a mask for the safety of all.

  • evening / 05:30 PM to 07:00 PM
    Assisting adults with disabilities in visual arts and music & movement classes. 9 weeks Mon - Thurs 2 hr shift evenings 5:30 - 7 pm.

Mission Statement

ARTS for ALL Wisconsin, the state organization for arts and disability, was founded in 1985 as Very Special Arts Wisconsin with the mission to expand the capabilities, confidence and quality of life for children and adults with disabilities by providing programs in dance, drama, creative writing, music and visual art.

Description

ARTS for ALL Wisconsin (formerly VSA Wisconsin) began with a one-day Festival for school-aged children. Thirty-four years later, our statewide initiatives now include residencies, classes, arts workshops, choirs, exhibitions and professional development opportunities. Throughout the history ARTS for ALL Wisconsin, over 160 programs have been implemented and have directly impacted more than 3,000 people of all ages, primarily with disabilities.

Our central office is located in Madison, Wisconsin.
