Alzheimer's Association is looking for an individual to become a Support Group Facilitator in St. Johns county. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, passionate and an effective listener that will assist in creating a safe and open environment where children of those diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other dementia can share their thoughts, feelings and emotions. As a facilitator, the goal of support groups is to provide emotional, social and/or educational support to group members. We are looking for someone that can commit to becoming a facilitator once a month.
