  • 7 people are interested

The San Diego Int'l Film Festival takes place in two villages, La Jolla and Gaslamp. The Gaslamp location runs from an Opening Night Film & Party on Tuesday night, with films running through Sunday. The La Jolla orientation will be held at Arclight Cinema Theatre Box downtown.

We will go over what will happen at the festival, you can decide on what team sounds most interesting to you, meet that team lead, and sign up for shifts that fit into your schedule.

The teams most in need are Theater Ops, Customer Service, Box Office, and event logistics with setting up and breaking down the festival. There are also team lead positions available if you want to jump in and get a fully immersed experience for a few days:)

If your group or company likes to volunteer as a group, we can use groups on Sat and Sun in Theater Ops for up to 20 people.

Fill out a volunteer application at sdfilmfest.com/volunteer. No need to rsvp for the orientation.

Binge Watching for Film Lovers! The San Diego Film Festival is rapidly developing a reputation for premiering blockbuster films right here in San Diego. In 2012 we saw Silver Linings Playbook, Beasts of the Southern Wild and Quartet here long before they became box office hits. In 2013, we premiered 12 Years a Slave, The German, and August: Osage County. And last year it was The Imitation Game and Whiplash, which were honored with four Oscar wins and 11 nominations, plus Wild, Mr. Turner, St. Vincent, The Good Lie, We are looking for hundreds of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to plan, promote, and produce events and support our guests year-round and during the Festival (October 4-October 8).
