You will receive instructions to complete your registration after you express interest below. If seeking court ordered volunteer opportunities, we recommend applying at least three months out from your court date to ensure you can complete all your required hours in time for your court date.
REPORTS TO: Hotline Services Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide emotional accompaniment services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence during overnight/weekend on-call shifts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of YWCA Orientation (16hrs), department specific training (up to 24hrs)
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation with ability to respond to various locations within 30 minutes of dispatch
- Must have and maintain cell phone and service plan
- Commit to a minimum of one 12 - 14 hour on-call shift per month
