At Puppy Haven, events are crucial to getting dogs adopted and raising funds. This is why we need someone who has a passion for event planning that can help make larger fundraising events happen.
We are open to working with anyone who enjoys event planning. Experience is not necessary! This would be a great volunteer opportunity for a college student wanting to gain more experience in their field. We would be more than happy to write a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO
- Plan larger fundraising/adoption events several months in advance
- Contact local businesses, organizations, etc. as needed
- Use a given budget to buy need supplies, venues, etc.
- Provide weekly updates to supervisor to ensure the project is on track & let them know what tasks they need to complete as well in order to make the event a success

Mission Statement
Puppy Haven Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, dog rescue located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We rescue all kinds of dogs and puppies and help them find their forever home. We are always in need of volunteers! This could mean fostering, working one-on-one with the dogs, aiding in events, or more behind-the-scenes work.
Description
PH rescues all dog breeds of every size and find them loving, forever homes. Our rescues receive high-quality care. Our adoptable dogs are healthy, socialized, and ready to be a part of a family. Our hope is to continue to grow to save as many lives as possible. We will be fundraising and accepting donations to build a spacious, temporary housing for dogs who need immediate saving.
