As Covid-19 regulations ease up, we will be returning in full force to resource fairs, mental health events, farmers markets, community festivals and street fairs to let the public know about our non-profit and the classes, support groups and community presentations we offer.

We are always in search of reliable, empathetic and enthusiastic volunteers who like engaging with the public at these types of events. We pass out flyers and sometimes have a prize wheel and giveaways. These are fun events and the time commitment is minimal, usually 3-5 hour shifts once or twice a month. If you are interested in learning more about our organization and how you can be involved please contact us.

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health. Today, we are an association of more than 500 local affiliates who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.
