During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Most of our volunteers work one three-hour shift each month. They work during one of our three, three-hour shifts each week - Saturdays and Tuesdays we are open from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and then on Thursdays we are open from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Perry Township and Beech Grove residents come to the food pantry to request services. Our modified process in response to COVID-19 has us insisting that our neighbors in need remain in their vehicles. Our volunteers greet our guests and then food (mostly non-perishable) is gathered from the pantry shelves based on the needs and size of the family being served and then we take it to the vehicles in turn.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
