Are you passionate about ensuring our most vulnerable populations have coats, warm clothing, personal hygiene kits and other items imperative to surviving the elements? Then the Gear Room may be the place for you.

Gear Room Attendants organize and distribute survival gear that our Fort Collins community donates. This is a fast-paced, direct service, and immersive volunteer opportunity. Be ready to climb ladders, lift 15lbs+, and practice conflict resolution with respectful dignity and firmness.

Shifts are Mondays 9am-11am.

Homeward Alliance (formally Homeless Gear) is a Fort Collins-based nonprofit that provides a continuum of services to individuals and families who are homeless or - in some cases - at risk of becoming homeless: supplies that help them survive in the short-term, connections to resources in the interim and links to employment, housing and self-sufficiency in the long-term.
