Are you passionate about ensuring our most vulnerable populations have coats, warm clothing, personal hygiene kits, and other items imperative to surviving the elements? Then the Gear Room may be the place for you.

Gear Room Attendants organize and distribute survival gear that our Fort Collins community donates. This is a fast-paced, direct service, and immersive volunteer opportunity. Be ready to climb ladders, lift 15lbs+, and practice conflict resolution with respectful dignity and firmness.

Shifts are every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (except on holidays). This happens indoors at the Murphy Center at 242 Conifer Street in north Fort Collins.

No background check is required, but an interview is. You will be trained on your first shift. We are looking for ongoing commitments from volunteers aged 18+.
