Take one Saturday morning to involve yourself in an unforgettable experience, the Miami-Dade Walk to Defeat ALS! The shift is from 7am-noon, assisting with setup, manning booths, cheering walkers, route monitoring, and breakdown. Simply respond to this posting or contact Becky Ford, bford@alsafl.org, to become a part of a rewarding and unforgettable experience, and join the fight to defeat ALS!
The Miami-Dade Walk to Defeat ALS has a direct impact on people living with ALS by raising awareness and funds to realize the mission of The ALS Association Florida Chapter: creating a world without ALS. The Chapter is fighting this disease by participating in advocacy, providing patient services, helping fund research, and providing financial support to statewide multidisciplinary ALS clinics and research facilities, enabling them to increase quality patient care.
The Miami-Dade Walk to Defeat ALS will be held Saturday, October 26, at Maurice Ferre Park (Museum Park) in Miami.
