SOAR Outreach is looking for Volunteer Marketing & Communication Manager.

The mission of SOAR Outreach is to provide low-income and homeless youth in Wake County improved opportunities to excel in their education by ensuring that all children in our schools have equal access to basic personal care and hygiene items. We aim to empower all kids, provide equal opportunities for kids regardless of income, decrease bullying in our schools, and increase classroom successes in our most vulnerable population of kids.

The responsibilities are:

* General Marketing and Communications
* Social Media Management
* Data Analytics

This a remote position.

Qualifications needed: Marketing and communication preferable with nonprofit experience, excellent written and communications skills, attention to detail and proofreading skills, social media and software creation platforms, and WordPress

SOAR Outreach provides support to low-income and homeless youth in Wake County, by providing improved opportunities to focus on and excel in their education. SOAR Outreach currently focuses the majority of their work on the Healthy Hygiene Habits (HHH) Program, which focuses on basic hygiene techniques that have a major impact on a child’s participation and success in school.
