On Saturday, September 21 st from 10:00am to 1:00pm the Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center will be hosting its first Community Health Resource Fair! This fair is a one-stop place for Herndon community members and Cornerstones clients to learn about the different resources regarding overall health and wellness. Volunteers will be needed in shifts from 8:00am-2:00pm to help with set-up, greeting clients, running the general information table and helping out with youth activities. See the shifts below:
Event Set Up: 8:00am - 9:30am
Assist with Youth Activities: 9:45am - 1:00pm
General Information Table: 9:45am - 1:00pm
Greeters and Ushers: 9:45am - 1:00pm
Clean Up: 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Description
Cornerstones helps individuals and families survive tough economic times in an already high cost-of-living community. Through advocacy and support services, we connect our clients to the vital resources they need to build more self-sufficient lives. Our success comes from a comprehensive array of programs, wrap-around services that solve urgent or on-going requirements for housing, childcare, food or financial assistance all with the goal to sustain healthy families, secure housing, and financial independence.
