Volunteer to help at ABC of NC’s 12th annual Gourmet Lunchbox Lunch! Volunteers are needed for event set-up on Monday, Oct. 21, anytime from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional volunteers are needed at the event itself, to greet and assist event attendees, on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Millennium Center (101 West Fifth Street, Winston-Salem, NC).
This year's event features guest speaker Armani Williams, a Detroit-based NASCAR driver with autism. Williams is now part of the NASCAR stable of talented upcoming drivers. He is using his racing career as a platform to draw awareness to autism, promote research based solutions, and create better life outcomes for families impacted by the disorder.
ABC of NC’s Gourmet Lunchbox Lunch, the organization’s largest annual fundraiser, introduces the community to ABC of NC and the services we provide to children with autism and their families. Each year, the lunch attracts more than 500 attendees and raises vital financial support to sustain and advance the organization.
