AARF is currently seeking members to become a part of our brand new Short-Term Foster Team!!!! Team members will be open to temporarily housing animals that have been suddenly abandoned. Housing will be required for no longer than 1 week total. Abandonment rates seem to be rising, and having the ability to place animals in temporary safe spaces, while long-term fosters are arranged, is vital to saving pets in our community!!! Temporary fosters can also open their homes to house feral cats recovering from spay/neuter surgeries for 72 hours maximum. Big differences in well-being can happen in a short amount of time...

Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends is a small group of concerned animal lovers dedicated to rescuing abandoned and abused animals. We work with local veterinary clinics to provide veterinary care to the animals before placing them in temporary foster homes, and eventually, loving permanent homes. Please check often, and contact us if you are looking for a particular pet. Thousands of animals in the Atlanta area are in need of homes.
