Become a part of our Community Clinic Team! A couple times per month we are taking our clinic out into the community to provide low cost services for people and their pets. Volunteers collaborate with staff members in the successful execution of off-site vaccination and service clinics (mobile clinics) in order to provide vital veterinary services for local communities that otherwise might not have access to pet health services.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Set up and break down of community clinic.
  • Work with a team of staff & volunteers to ensure that all mobile clinic standards and goals are met.
  • Assist with customer service, greeting and line control, cashiering, handing out treats, completing client forms &/or scanning for microchips.
  • Monitor animal behavior and safety.
  • Clean up pet messes as needed.
Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to stand for 3 hours.

COVID SAFETY NOTE- All community clinics are now held outdoors as a drive thru vaccination clinic. Volunteers will have access to facemasks and shields. Social distancing will be enforced and clients will be asked to remain in their vehicles.

Pet Resource Center of Kansas City is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 2002. We're the only targeted spay neuter program in the Greater Kansas City area, working to help all families in need regardless of financial means. Our unique approach provides exceptional customer service and high standards of care through commitment to our core values.

We educate and assist families to improve their pet's quality of life, increase the animal-human-bond and make long term positive impacts in our community and animal welfare.

We pride ourselves in acknowledging our diverse community with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. Our programs target families who need assistance with education, wellness, and resources to help their pets live a long, healthy and happy life.
