Become a part of our Community Clinic Team! A couple times per month we are taking our clinic out into the community to provide low cost services for people and their pets. Volunteers collaborate with staff members in the successful execution of off-site vaccination and service clinics (mobile clinics) in order to provide vital veterinary services for local communities that otherwise might not have access to pet health services.
Responsibilities may include:
Set up and break down of community clinic.
Work with a team of staff & volunteers to ensure that all mobile clinic standards and goals are met.
Assist with customer service, greeting and line control, cashiering, handing out treats, completing client forms &/or scanning for microchips.
Monitor animal behavior and safety.
Clean up pet messes as needed.
Community Clinics are held on Saturdays. Volunteers can work the full event or sign up for shifts.
Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to stand for 3 hours.
COVID SAFETY NOTE- All community clinics are now held outdoors as a drive thru vaccination clinic. Volunteers will have access to facemasks and shields. Social distancing will be enforced and clients will be asked to remain in their vehicles.
