Children's Art Teacher - Family Village Issaquah

ORGANIZATION: YWCA of Seattle-King County-Snohomish County

The Children's Art Teacher will work with the YWCA Staff to help youth cultivate creative expression through art. We need volunteers who enjoy arts and crafts to lead the group in an art activity and encourage a fun and inspiring atmosphere for the youth.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize art activity for about 15, 8 to 12-year-old children.
  • Set-up, clean-up, and provide art instruction throughout the project.
  • Work directly with children and families (supervised by YWCA Staff)
  • Encourage a fun and inspiring atmosphere for the youth and families

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Patience
  • Creativity
  • Experience working with youth
  • Minimum age: 18 years old
  • Must pass background check
  • Must have availability on a Mon-Sun afternoon (Wednesday preferred)
  • Must be able to travel to Family Village Issaquah (930 NE High ST Suite 101 Issaquah, WA 98029)
