Our clients need help learning how to clean and organize their apartments and how to iron their clothes, among other housekeeping tasks. We need someone (or perhaps a small team) to come in and teach our clients these skills, preferably once a week or twice a month, in the evening or on a Saturday.

The Lord's Place is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing innovative, compassionate and effective services to men, women, and children in our community.
In 2013, we provided supportive housing to 339 men, women and children. By the end of the year, 91% were no longer homeless. Our success over the past 30 years is due to an unwavering commitment to our clients and an approach that balances compassion and personal responsibility.
The Lord’s Place is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness with programs and services that include:
Supportive Housing
Our supportive housing model gives our clients the time that they need in a stable, safe environment to address the issues that led to their homelessness.
Job Training & Placement
Our Job Training and Placement Program addresses the need for homeless men and women to regain economic self-sufficiency. The program assists clients in finding and maintaining employment by offering job training, placement and education programs.
Social Enterprise:
Our Social Enterprise businesses allow us not only the opportunity to hire as many of our own clients as we can, but it affords our clients the opportunity to develop their hard and soft work skills in a supportive environment.
We'll work with your schedule.
