DESCRIPTION:
YWCA Dayton, dedicated to the empowerment of women and the elimination of racism, seeks a highly motivated undergraduate or graduate student with an interest and passion in planning, overseeing, and executing all aspects of project management. This intern will report directly to the Special Project Manager and will interact directly with the Executive Team. The intern will be a part of the YWCA staff, and will also work closely with other YWCA Dayton employees and volunteers.
DUTIES:
Project management, including: develop, monitor, track, and report project progress
Activity planning and sequencing
Timeline and cost estimating
Coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors
Scalability and portability analysis
Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
Reporting results and assessing risk
SKILL SET:
Strong written and verbal skills
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking
Strong follow-through and task-orientation
Ability to interact with others, both individually and as a team, in order to cultivate support for the agency missionMore opportunities with YWCA Dayton
