Johnson County Parks and recreation is seeking volunteers to be part of their team! And act as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach for Track & Field. Experienced participating, teaching and coaching. Can work well with our Special Olympics athletes. Practices begin approximately March 30 thru May 25. Preferably, be available for our regional (TBD) and our State Tournament (usually 1st weekend in June). Coaches will help with approximately 25 athletes. Must be at least 18 years old. Must complete all paperwork required by SOKS prior to coaching. This is an amazing and rewarding opportunity to coach Special Olympians. We already have 3 assistant coaches to help out.


Practices will be Mondays and Saturdays. Practice may end up just being on Monday.
