ORGANIZATION: Animal Rescue New Orleans

Responsibilities:

• Assist staff in maintaining the comfort and cleanliness of all the cats in the shelter.
• Assist staff with cleaning kennels using proper techniques, refilling food and water as needed, ensuring clean bedding and plenty of toys in each cage.
• Socialize and brush cats in the cages and colony rooms.
• Make notes about the animal's behavior for use by staff and potential adopters.

Requirements: This is a physically active volunteer position. All volunteers must first attend the volunteer orientation. Junior volunteers can participate in this program with their parent-partner.

Time Commitment: Shifts available every day of the week - morning shifts from 9 am to 1 pm and evening shifts from 6 pm to 9 pm.
