AJ Williams Events is looking for volunteer event staff for the Cape Verde Gala & Auction, Sunday, September 29, 2019, at the Liberty Hall, Revere Hotel Boston Common. We are looking for people with great people skills, positive attitudes, and a strong work ethic. Staff will be engaging attendees at registration, helping with the auction and other various tasks throughout the event. Where: Liberty Hall at the Revere Hotel Boston Common, 200 Stuart Street, Boston, MA 02116

Time needed:2:30-8:00pm. Dinner Included

Description: Project Health CV will host the Cape Verde Gala & Auction to support its mission to provide the people of Cape Verde with specialized medical and surgical care, training of health care providers and transporting much needed medical equipment to The Cape Verde Islands. The program will feature incredible entertainment, honor Beth Israel Lahey Health CEO, Dr. Kevin Tabbwith the Project Health Lifetime Achievement Award, with special appearance by 'The Resident’ star, Morris Chestnut, and Cape Verde’s Prime Minister, H.E. José Ulisses de Pina Correia e Silva.

Approximate number of Guests: 250+ guests

Wardrobe: Ladies -Black tailored pants, black blazer jacket, black tank, black dress shoes. Men - Black tailored pants, black dress shirt, black shoes.

About Project Health Cape Verde:

Project Health CV (PHCV)is a non- profit organization founded in 2009, by medical staff from Beth Israel Lahey Health and Cape Verdean immigrants. PHCV is dedicated to improving lives by introducing world-class medical care to the people of Cape Verde and providing those in need access to general and preventative healthcare information. From 2009 to 2015 the Project Health CV team sent a combination of eight teams of over thirty-five medical professional volunteers to The Cape Verde Islands. Though limited in terms of equipment, staffing, and language barriers, the team treated over 1,000 patients. In 2018, PHCV celebrated its tenth Medical Mission to Cape Verde.
