If you love writing or have a knack for securing grants and other financing for organizations like ours, we could use your help. Make an impact on Chicago communities by assisting us on the development side with streamlining our proposals and just overall helping us to put together better applications to win funding.
Donor money can only go so far, and we need additional funding to assist us with construction costs for buildout of our four new locations, sports equipment for our teams that will be competing this summer and musical instruments for our talented kids whose parents can’t afford to make the purchases. We also have a few educational programs that could use your support.
To be considered for this opportunity, please email tamara@vov.world.
MISSION: To prevent violence, crime, poverty, suicide, mass incarceration, through the medium of restorative practices, mentorship, life skills, events, and activities, providing resources, educational classes, career development, sports, and multiple art forms.
We are here to promote thriving youth and economic development within impoverished high-crime communities, throughout the United States.
Mentorship reshaping, crisis and anger management are exchanged for positive self-expression. We strive to improve outcomes for at-risk youth and adults through positive development and access to community-based resources and support.
VISION: We envision a world where education and opportunity are equalized giving all people access to a future without limits.
Our program is the solution to these problems: Disconnected youth, lack of resources, poverty, violence, crime, suicide, and mass incarceration.
The solutions we offer to prevent problems from taking place are...
By providing sports and educational programming, business entrepreneurship programs and other services that will help prevent the aforementioned problems from taking place.
PROGRAMMING:

IMPACT OF YOUR DONATION OR VOLUNTEER SUPPORT...
Your partnership with VoV will help us implement and run our programs and services. A contribution from you means you are ending murder, reconnecting at-risk youth and underserved communities, providing resources, ending poverty, and fewer youth are being incarcerated.
