After being trained, Lead Volunteer opens/closes shelter, manages & supervises volunteers, provides animal care and cleans including laundry at rescue shelter, assist with vet appointments, provides clerical assistance (mail, email, filing, faxing, inventory, etc.), leads social media marketing, and helps with fundraising efforts.

Chi Town Rescue’s mission is to save dogs in need and at risk of euthanasia at high kill shelters.
Description
We established in the summer of 2016. We're a group of volunteers that helped at the local animal care & control and felt we wanted to create a rescue where we would not be limited as to extent of medical care we could provide and be NO KILL. We are entirely volunteer run with no paid staff or officers, only awesome people wanting to do some good.
