Rescue & Transport volunteers work out in the field to capture, contain, and transport injured and orphaned animals to our hospital. Wildlife also need to be transported from veterinary hospitals across Long Island to our center.

These volunteers are "on call" and contacted based on their availability and the location of animals in need of transport. This is a great way to volunteer if your schedule does not allow you to make a weekly commitment.
