ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley

Share your passion for football with our members in grades 3-5 and 6-8 during our Fall Flag Football League. It's a five game season with end-of-season tournament Sat. Nov 12.

  • Practice once per week Mon - Fri Sept 12-Sept 23
  • Coaches Training week of Sept 19
  • Games Saturday mornings Oct 1 - Oct 29
There are three ways you can get involved:
  • Coach a team (2-3 hours weekly, includes Saturday morning game)
  • Assist a team - manage equipment maintenance & storage (1-2 hours/week)
  • Assist the league - help out Saturday mornings (Sept - Oct / 5 game season with end-of-season tournament)
Weekly practice times and Saturday morning game times vary by location.

  • Coaches need prior experience playing competitively
  • All volunteers need to pass BGCAZ's required background check (no charge),
  • All coaches need to complete volunteer orientation and coach's training (week of 9/19)
  • Games are played Saturday mornings (10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29)

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) provides premier out-of-school-time programs for youth to develop their skills and resilience to successfully navigate childhood, and prepare for adulthood. We offer affordable after-school and summer programs for 16,000 young people in grades K-12. At 31 clubs across Maricopa County, areas of Pinal County, and Yuma, BGCAZ provides award-winning programs designed to change the lives of young people in four key areas: Academic Success, Character & Leadership Development, Healthy Living, and career readiness.
