Mission Statement

The mission of the International Enlightenment Foundation is to promote leadership through education. The vision is to create a society of creative and innovative leaders that are conscientious and ethically responsible. Our focus is on youth in the areas of THE ARTS & STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).

Description

Through the mentoring, workshops, seminars and camps we provide, our programming yields leadership, entrepreneurship, tutoring, life skills, and character education. Teen Minute, one of our flagship endeavors, helps pre-teen youth to young adults discover how their greatest gifts and talents can be developed into assets. Through in-depth role-playing and a hands-on approach toward communication with useful feedback, we equip young minds with knowledge, wisdom and empowerment. Through the performing arts program, Legends in the Making, we promote the development of basic concepts in etiquette, leadership, and citizenship with a non-traditional setting bridging cultures and current events, while learning concepts that become lifelong skills. Additionally, we provide a critical thinking program, Teens Think, as well as after school programs for many ages, and other programs. We also create various educational materials that are important and useful for youth comprehension and development, especially in area of critical thinking.
