The Friends of the Livermore Library (FOLL), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Library, its services and programs, is looking for an adult (18 years or older) to sort books in preparation for shipping. We are seeking a person who can give a couple of hours a day scanning and/or entering ID numbers into a computer, then placing the books in boxes to prepare for shipping.
You will be sorting with an experienced person several times as you learn the process. You will be working in teams, not alone, at the Civic Center Library.
Requirements
A cursory knowledge of computers, with the ability to turn it on and off, and plug items into USB ports.
Schedule
Must work Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You pick the days and hours that fit your schedule.
Time commitment
You can work your own schedule, but we ask that you work the same day and time each week.
