ORGANIZATION: ANIMAL HOSPICE END OF LIFE AND PALLIATIVE CARE PROJECT

We help caregivers plan a peaceful farewell.
Maple with her Mom on their bucket list trip.

Help us reach more people and their pets in the emerging field of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care . Our nonprofit is seeking innovation by those motivated to apply their marketing skills and talents and succeed in the nonprofit field and to spread the word about our programs:

  1. Animal Hospice Certification
  2. Helpline for pet caregivers and professionals.

Strongly bonded animal caregivers have increasingly wanted the same care for their animal family members that have benefited their human loved ones through hospice. They get what they are seeking through the expanding field of Animal Hospice. The first-ever Animal Hospice Certification for animal lovers of all backgrounds and experiences has been launched and we need your help to get the word out! Our cumulative 100 years of experience as nonprofit leaders has shown us that having success in Marketing Strategy is key for this point in our business development.

We would ask a skilled volunteer to help us with a strategy to find leads via outreach and marketing and develop a sales process that can bring the leads through our advertising all the way to a paying customer who has signed up to become a Certified Animal Hospice Practitioner.

Thank you for your interest and we look forward to having you join the Animal Hospice Group!
Note: the Animal Hospice Group is a global organization in affiliation with the Animal Hospice, End of Life, and Palliative Project, a grassroots nonprofit based in greater Seattle.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower pet parents and practitioners through education, help, and hope in the end-of-life journey for animals.

Description

Caregivers of companion animals are seeking quality-of-life options when their beloved animal family members are living with serious illness or the special caregiving needs that can come with, or near, the end of life. The Animal Hospice Group (AHG) is a collaborative organization of animal hospice and palliative care practitioners dedicated to instilling confidence and developing competency to provide animal caregivers with the knowledge to best support animals during this beautiful yet bittersweet time. Our community knows that people want the same gentle, dignified decline for their animal family members that their human loved ones experienced through hospice care, and we know they can achieve these goals through animal hospice and palliative care. Two AHG programs provide hope and help for pets and their people: 1) the Animal Hospice Practitioner Certification, an online advanced education curriculum, and internship and 2) the Animal Hospice Helpline to support pet parents and companion animal care professionals. We can build awareness of the field and serve more families with the help of people like you - please join the AHG! AHG Founder Michelle Nichols also founded the Animal Hospice, End of Life, and Palliative Care Project. The AHG is fiscally supported by BrightHaven Inc, a 501c(3) nonprofit registered in California.
