Dear Volunteer and or Organization,
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Transition Conference "Life After High School". The Conference is designed for parents, foster parents, guardians, and professionals who work with students with special needs (ages 14-22). Students with special needs also attend the conference. Parents’ Place can not do the job that we do without the help from the Community. This event is a success because of volunteers who donate their time and support. We appreciate your time and dedication.
Volunteer assignments may include:
1. Greet families.
2. Registration Table Check-in.
3. Bilingual Registration Area.
4. Morning setup and clean up.
5. Refreshment Table.
6. Providing assistance in the Young Adult workshop area.
7. Providing translation equipment to families.
8. Possible verbal translation in American Sign Language, Spanish, Vietnamese, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin.
If this opportunity interests you, please contact me to receive the Volunteer Application.
Sincerely;
tavia.l@parentsplacefrc.com
