Our City Harvest Market provides a level of access to fresh and healthy foods that would otherwise be too expensive for purchase. There are many community options for free canned or non-perishable goods, but this model is unique because we also provide low cost fresh and frozen items including meat, dairy, and fresh produce. The City Harvest Market is not a traditional food pantry, our market provides a dignified, quality shopping experience. This community resource supports our economic mobility programs and goes hand in hand with our relationship based services.
We are in need of a grocery shopper to shop for and stock groceries for our market. Shoppers are given funds and a shopping list of needed items. We are currently in need for shoppers to deliver Tuesday between 12-5pm and Thursday afternoons between 12-3pm. This can be a weekly or every other week opportunity. Sign up today!

Our vision is that all people in the St. Louis region have access to the opportunities and support that allow them to achieve economic well-being. LifeWise StL supports the vision by increasing its thought leadership, building presence through program growth and expanding influence in the community.
Our story began in 1902 when LifeWise StL was founded as a settlement house. Middle class men and women provided education and resources to help the growing immigrant population of St. Louis. They created a place of hope, refuge, learning and connection. These ideals have endured even as the community around us has changed and life situations are more challenging.
Our organization has experienced its own metamorphosis as it adapted to meet the needs of our participants. We have moved away from crisis services toward holistic transformations. Today, we have a model that is based on educational programming fused with personalized and supportive coaching.
