Give Rides to Change Lives!
The seemingly simple act of giving a ride can make a huge difference in the life of a senior. To be a volunteer driver with Sound Generations Volunteer Transportation program is to provide seniors living at home more independence, companionship, and assurance.
Using their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement is an option), volunteer drivers take adults 55 and older to much needed medical appointments. Clients are enormously grateful for their improved access to medical care, meaningful interactions with caring volunteers, and increased peace of mind.
This opportunity is extremely FLEXIBLE, allowing volunteers to pick the days, times, frequency, and areas they wish to drive. Help more seniors get "on the road" to improved health and peace of mind by becoming a volunteer today!

"You have done wonders for my life. I would not have been able to stay in my own home for as long as I have without your help. Thank you for all you do." Jeanne, 84
**Note: WE NEED DRIVERS THROUGHOUT KING COUNTY!! You would drive seniors who live near your home.
