Description
The Healing Space of Cincinnati, a sacred space dedicated to holistic health , is seeking an enthusiastic, data driven individual to fill the volunteer role of Bookkeeper.
Responsibilities
* R ecord weekly deposits in accounting system , relaying cash/ checks to bank * Pay reimbursements and bills utilizing bank’s online bill pay features * Assist with month ly financial reports for the Board of Directors * Post journal entries as necessary * Work with the Treasurer on yearly forecasting / budgeting efforts * Assist with internal auditsRequirements
Applicants should have experience using or a willingness to learn basic accounting principles, online accounting systems and personal email programs (i.e. Gmail or similar). Attention to detail and excell ent communication skills are essential to this position, as data entry and email follow up are prominent aspects of the role. Please note, this role requires the use of a personal computer; a laptop or desktop computer is required.
