Understands and accepts the hospice philosophy of care. Demonstrates being dependable, cooperative, honest, empathetic, non-judgmental, an active listener and willing to work under supervision. Has not had a significant life loss within the past year and is able to comfortably discuss prior losses, especially deaths of loved ones. Has access to dependable and readily available transportation. Comfortable interacting with individuals who are terminally ill or emotionally distraught.

Description
Arcadia provides care for patients in the enviroment that is most comfortable for them. Whether it is in a patient's home, the home of a family member, an assisted living facility, or a nursing home. Arcadia works to provide excellent care and support to the patient and their families.
Our volunteers have a vital place in the Arcadia team. They come together to make possitive impacts in the lives of terminally ill patients.
