Direct Care Volunteers have the opportunity to show compassion to patients and families facing end of life illnesses. Direct Care Volunteers support the patients and families by participating in a variety of activities such as:
Watching Television with patient
Reading to patient
Playing music for patient
Running errands for families
Providing respite for caregivers

The Direct Care Volunteer should possess the ability to actively listen and communicate compassionately with patients, families, and caregivers.

Our mission statement is to honor life and offer compassion to individuals and their families, when facing a life limiting illness.

All volunteers must have covid vaccinations.
