Courageous Women Association, is in need of 200 volunteersto help women & children impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, and impoverishment, during our annual Free Shopping, Pampering, and Community Outreach, Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019.
We need 200 male, female, and non binary volunteers to assist before, during, and after the event this year. We welcome students, social groups, church groups, businesses, families, and individuals. This is a great time to give back to the Bay Area impoverished communities of over 1,000 women and children in attendance this year!
Various duties to include:
Volunteer Leaders
Staging/decorating
Hostessing
Food service
Bagging
Registration
Child sitting / entertainment
Setup / Cleanup
Crowd Control
Moving / Storage
Heavy lifting - up to 75lbs

We are a nonprofit 501c3 Corporation providing support services, economic resources, transitional housing, and empowerment to women & children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, prostitution & human trafficking, and other crippling life experiences. Our organization is built upon uplifting and empowering women from all walks of life, reminding them of their worth and importance in the world. We provide services to over 1000 women and children annually.
