Through membership on Little City's Board of Directors you will find a multitude of opportunities to find your passion, have an impact helping enrich the lives of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and make each day brighter for those we serve. Diversified board membership in respect to gender, ethnicity, age and interests.
Our Board supports Little City with their business knowledge. We also ask for support via attendance/sponsorship/auction items/ticket sales for our signature events. A good fit for a Little City Board Member would be someone who has access to a corporate network, a community leader who wants to make a difference, and is performance and mission driven.
The average time commitment for our Board Members are 5 hours or less per month. The term limit is two years and renewable for additional two year terms. Board Member's typically meet on Monday's at 3:00 p.m. at our Corporate office in Inverness, IL.

Accredited by the prestigious CARF (Council on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities), Little City provides services for children and adults with disabilities include housing, employment, recreation, foster care, adoption, home-based support, media and studio arts, advocacy, public education and more.
