Do you have experience working with children? Do you want to support women in our community have been impacted by incarceration? CJM is looking for experienced volunteers who can monitor children while their mothers attend our Let' Start Support Group. This opportunity provides much needed assistance to the group participants by enabling them to be present in group and get the support they need. The responsibilities for this position include monitoring kids aged 1-16, helping with homework, engaging in activities and games with the kids, and mediating conflict between kids. We are looking for volunteers who are patient, flexible, kind, and have a true passion for working with youth.

CJM’s mission is to improve our communities by supporting and empowering those impacted by incarceration.
Since 1979, CJM has provided services justice involved individuals during and post incarceration. Specifically focused on re-entry, CJM has housing programs that help individuals who've served long term sentences and veterans transition into the community post incarceration, various types of assistance to individuals who have recently been released from prison or jail to help them get on their feet, and volunteer led programming inside local jails and prisons.
